Christian Moore: Wildcats' Moore Heads to Kansas State
Talented Tight End from Manhattan
Christian Moore, a standout tight end from Manhattan, has committed to play football at Kansas State University. Moore, who stands 6'5" and weighs 245 pounds, is a versatile athlete who can line up as a wide receiver or a traditional tight end. He is known for his strong hands, athleticism, and ability to block in the running game.
Moore's High School Career
Moore was a four-year letterman at Manhattan High School, where he helped lead his team to three consecutive state championships. As a senior, he caught 35 passes for 600 yards and eight touchdowns, and he also rushed for 150 yards and three touchdowns. Moore was named All-State and All-League in both his junior and senior seasons, and he was also selected to play in the Kansas Shrine Bowl.
Moore's Recruitment
Moore was recruited by several major college football programs, including Boise State, Nevada, and Oregon State. However, he ultimately chose Kansas State because of the opportunity to play in a pro-style offense and the chance to develop under head coach Chris Klieman. Moore is expected to play a major role in the Wildcats' offense in the fall.
